For women who are not experiencing success with other hormone therapy methods, Menopause & Hormone Specialty Center is a Certified BioTE® Medical Provider in the Shreveport area. We offer BioTE supplied hormone pellets for hormone replacement therapy (HRT) regimens, as well as pellets for bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT). Our nurse practitioner, Tammi Herkey, provides the insertion of these pellets to give your body consistent access to the hormones contained in the pellets so you do not have to worry about forgetting to take a pill or apply a cream.
